Earlier said than done!

Well, my Firefox went into hibernation again after the last post. IE still remained adamant to appear and I just could not login using Opera. And wonders, today Firefox came out of hibernation but IE's still sulking I guess!

If you are from Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and can read the Malay language, I find this Misi Jutawan book very concise, informative and practical. Very doable. You should acquire one if you want to make a living online and aspire to be a millionaire. The bonuses you get with the book will help speed up the process!

At last, I am able to....

I have not been able to log into my account since I cleared some trojans from my PC. The IE browser hanged. Maxthon which used the the IE engine will hang when I login to my Google account. Firefox just went 'silent'. Wouldn't even appear in the Windows Task manager "processes' tab. Some important system files must have been affected and cleaned by the AV program. The only operable browser is Opera though it sometimes just closed by itself. This problem now cured by installing the newest version. But Firefox still refused to be recognized even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version twice.

Opera is fast. Very fast, compared to other browsers. File saving and downloading big files. Almost instantaneous. Except many sites are just not friendly with it. Internet banking is just not possible. Won't be able to login. While Google allow gmail to be accessed, blogger just wouldn't!. However my second 'post' - lightning, managed to be posted when I sent it via a Google program I accidentally came across but I forgot what it is.

Asides:Anyone know how to arrest this forgetfulness?. I believe I experienced it after long hours on the mobile phone 2,3 yrs back when I was working overseas far from home and without the landline phone to access to. The stories about the brain being fried with using mobile phones too long might be more true that we care to admit!

Last night I installed the latest Maxthon beta -Maxthon2. Wow! it really rocks. You should try it.

Now that I can get back to posting, I hope to write more often and share info with you.

Till then, have a nice day!

Lightning Round!

Matt Cutts answers Google questions:
- Is it possible to search just for home pages?
- News Flash: you can use strong and em instead of bold (b) and italics (i) !
- Will we ever see kitty posts again?
- What are Google SSD, Google RS2, and all those other things Tony Ruscoe found?
- Does Google rank blog sites any differently than regular websites? Does Google treat .gov.pl links with the same weight as regular .gov links?

This is exciting!

Today I was approved this beta.blogger. It promised to be something interesting with all the trimmings. Wonder if I'll be able to make use of them effectively. Though not really technically challenged, I am not quite that savvy too.

I am a retired Planter "just" learning to use the internet. "Just" being like 6 years. 6 years might be a loooong time for some or many, but to the newly exposed to IT like me, the learning curve is not something that I can be proud of. I can be quite good in one part and blank with others. Learning IT have always been a trial and error basis for me. And being forgetful and not quite organised in my PC doesn't help either. Found some leads though in this area and slowly implementing them.

As a pensioner finance more often than not will be a problem. Being naive and trusting got me burned many times on the net. Am now wised up some. Got me a website set up called Ebiz Made Easy. It's full of resources. Have to change some content though, especially those ads. Am having thoughts too about the Marketing Tips I added using javascipts from Page Swirl, I think.

Can't remember how many times I have redone the site. Changing the looks, the content and etcetera. In the process I learnt things like how to set up the SQL database and the like so that I can install add-ons and other things. So far I have added a blog and a type of word cloud. Maybe you care to look and install them on your own?

I also did a website called Secret Steps. I set it up using Site Build It. That was when SBI was first born and Ken Evoy offered it quite cheap at that time for all the works. Whilst developing SBI to the present full blown All-In-One, he renewed my site automatically without any charges for 2 years. In that time my site though just one page got itself ranked high in Alexa. I did not make use of the system fully because I don't understand IT at that time and it was more like a dabbling. I opted out because when it came time for renewal I couldn't afford the new price and moved my site to another host.

My Alexa ratings went up and down and when I do nothing to promote, it just disappeared in ranking. (no data!) When it was with SBI, I did that page and forget all about it. SBI!'s system did all the technicalities. Like Ken Evoy said, you just do your quality content pages, and we'll do the rest for you! I really missed SBI! since I feel now that I am now more sure of what got to be done. When I make some money from my sites above, I'll definitely go the SBI! way!

Anyone care to help me achieve my dreams? Then, visit my sites and see what you can do to help and get helped in the process! (Well, my sites have lots of resources where, if you are creative can be a real treasure trove of information for you to make money). Me. I am just not fast enough with the fingers (I pecked type) and lacking those creative juices. I noticed lots of sites on the net with less than the resources I offered making quite a living. Then maybe you can show me the ropes.
